On 25 April, the completion environmental-protection acceptance monitoring report for Nanle Shengjiu Sugar Alcohol Technology Co., Ltd. (Nanle Shengjiu)’s high-value utilization retrofit project of xylose by-product mother liquor was published on an environmental platform.

- Total investment: USD14.49 million (RMB100 million), of which USD0.49 million (RMB3.44 million) is for environmental protection

- Product plan: 8,000 t/a of xylose, 10,659 t/a of mixed-sugar mother liquor (75% DS)
- Main raw material: 30,789 t/a of existing xylose’s by-product mother liquor
- Labor quota: no new employees
- Working system: three 8hr shifts per day, 330 working days totaling 7,920 working hours per year
