On 8 May, the Qiqihar Ecology and Environment Bureau accepted and published the environmental impact report for Qiqihar Longjiang Fufeng Bio-technology Co., Ltd. (Longjiang Fufeng)’s 10,000 t/a of yeast series products project.
Project overview
- Nature: Expansion
- Location: Dawufuma Industrial Park, Angangxi District, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province
- Total investment: USD22.64 million (RMB155.34 million), of which USD0.29 million (RMB2 million) is for environmental protection
- Construction content: Purchase and install relevant storage tanks, fermenters, vertical agitators, separators, plate evaporators, spray drying towers, packaging machines and other production and auxiliary equipment; build supporting facilities including cooling circulation water pool and pump house.
- Product plan: 2,500 t/a of active dry yeast (feed grade + food grade), 2,500 t/a of yeast hydrolysate, 1,625 t/a of powdered yeast extract and yeast compound seasoning, 2,200 t/a of paste extract, 2,060 t/a of yeast cell wall.
- Main raw materials: 42,000 t/a of mother liquor sugar (from crystalline glucose workshop), 3,150 t/a of corn steep liquor, etc.
- Labor quota: no new employees
- Working system: three 8hr shifts per day, 330 working days totaling 7,920 working hours per year
- Construction period: 12 months
