Recently, the completion environmental-protection acceptance monitoring report for production & R&D project for deep processing corncobs into furfural and graphene by Daqing Heshan Biological Chemical Co., Ltd. (Daqing Heshan) was published on an environmental platform.

- Location: Xinghua Chemical Park, Daqing Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, Heilongjiang Province
- Total investment: USD0.25 million (RMB1.72 million)
- Construction content: A new furfural production line covering crushing, hydrolysis, distillation, dehydration and rectification units was built up.
- Product plan: 10,000 t/a of furfural and 168,855 t/a of by-product furfural residue.
- Main raw material: 133,333 t/a of corncobs
- Labor quota: 50 employees
- Working system: three 8hr shifts per day, 300 working days totaling 7,200 hours per year
- Progress:
- Started construction: May 2024
- Completion: Oct. 2025
- On-site acceptance monitoring: 15–16 Dec., 2025
