On 23 March, the completion environmental-protection acceptance report for Shandong Yangcheng Bio-technology Co., Ltd. (Yangcheng Biotechnology) ‘s 3,900 t/a of food-grade amino acids and derivatives project was published on an environmental platform.

- Total investment: RMB147.5 million, of which RMB 1.90 million is for environmental protection
- Construction content:
- Built a 1,800 t/a of amino acid and derivatives production line (500 t/a of trans-cinnamic acid, 200 t/a of D-aspartic acid, 70 t/a of ferulic acid, 100 t/a of D-glutamic acid, 800 t/a of trans-4-hydroxycinnamic acid, 100 t/a of caffeic acid, 30 t/a of L-norvaline).
- Expanded a 2,100 t/a of L-tyrosine refining line, reaching a capacity of 3,000 t/a of L-tyrosine and 800 t/a of γ-aminobutyric acid.
- Key raw materials: 5,720 t/a of crude tyrosine, 615 t/a of phenylalanine (food grade), 500 t/a of DL-aspartic acid (food grade), 223 t/a of glutamic acid (food grade), 42.3 t/a of L-norvaline crude, etc.
- Labor quota: no new employees
- Working system: three 8hr shifts per day, 330 working days totaling 7,920 working hours per year

- Completion: 1 Feb., 2026
- On-site acceptance monitoring: 22-25 Jan., 2026
