On 10 Jun., the local environment bureau accepted and publicized the EI report for 2,500 t/a of biosynthetic series products project by Jiangxi Fushine Biotechnology Co., Ltd.’s (Jiangxi Fushine).
Project overview
- Nature: Renovation and expansion.
- Location: High-tech Zone, Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province
- Total investment: USD27.8 million (RMB200 million), with USD0.56 million (RMB4 million) for environmental protection
- Construction content:
- Build production lines for L-hydroxyproline, proline, dihydroxyacetone, mycophenolic acid, and DHA.
- These will share facilities with the existing 1,000 t/a microbial protein production line, reducing its capacity to 200 t/a.
- The freed-up production time will be used for L-hydroxyproline and proline.
- The amino acid-based water-soluble fertilizer capacity will decrease from 50,000 t/a to 48,000 t/a.
- Product plan: 19,200 t/a of microbial protein, 195 t/a of L-hydroxyproline, 1,000 t/a of proline, 5 t/a of mycophenolic acid, 500 t/a of DHA, 800 t/a of dihydroxyacetone, and 48,000 t/a of amino acid-based water-soluble fertilizer.
- Product destinations
- L-hydroxyproline and proline will be mainly sold to Jiangxi Ruyi Technology Development Co., Ltd. (a pharmaceutical intermediate manufacturer) and Hangzhou Kewei Import and Export Co., Ltd. (a pharmaceutical trading company).
- Dihydroxyacetone will mainly go to Grand Biotech (Nanjing) Co., Ltd. (a biotech R&D company).
- Mycophenolic acid will be primarily sold to Hangzhou Kewei Import and Export Co., Ltd. (a pharmaceutical trading company).
- DHA will mainly be supplied to Zhejiang Huahai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (a biopharmaceutical manufacturer).
