Hinggan Yuanli’s Bio-based Succinic Acid and L-malic Acid Project

On 12 Sept., the draft environmental impact report for Hinggan League Yuanli Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Hinggan Yuanli)’s bio-based new materials project (Phase I) was published on an environmental platform.

 

Project Overview

  • Nature: New construction
  • Location: Economic and Technological Development Zone, Hinggan League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region
  • Total Investment: USD0.17 billion (RMB 1.2 billion), of which USD3.1 million (RMB22.08 million) is for environmental protection.
  • Construction content:

Construction of starch sugar production unit, succinic acid production unit, L-malic acid production unit, and supporting facilities.

  • Starting material: 150,000 t/a corn
  • Labor quota and working system: 305 people working in three-8-hour shifts for 8,000 hours per year.
  • Expected commissioning time: H2 2026
