Recently, the Tongliao Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau accepted and published the environmental impact assessment documents for Inner Mongolia Yuwang Biological Technology Co., Ltd. (Yuwang Bio)’s starch production workshop automation-upgrade project.

 

Project overview

  • Nature: Technical retrofit
  • Location: North Suburb Industrial Park, Kailu County, Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region
  • Total Investment: USD9.97 million (RMB70 million), of which USD28,490 (RMB 200,000) is for environmental protection
  • Scope: Automation upgrade of the existing corn-starch production line within current buildings and equipment; annual corn-processing volume remains unchanged.
  • Main raw material: 1,300,800 t/a of corn
  • Labor quota: no new employees
  • Working system: 350 operating days per year
  • Construction period: 2 months
